DENTURE OVER IMPLANTS

A dental implant supported denture - denture over implants - is similar to a regular denture, except that it is supported and attached to dental implants for stability.

Where a denture rests on top of the gum line, held in place with an adhesive, implant supported dentures snap into place on top of implants for a firmer hold.

These implant supported dentures or denture over implants are removable, so you can pop them out and clean them overnight.

A supported full upper denture is a full tooth replacement denture that uses the support and foundation of a series of dental implants to hold the
denture firmly in place at the top of your mouth. The benefit of an implant supported full upper denture over the more traditional full upper denture is in its ability to hold itself in place without the need for a palate (guard for the roof of your mouth). This allows for a more natural look and feel.

A supported lower full denture is a full tooth replacement denture that uses the support and foundation of a series of dental implants to hold the denture firmly in place at the bottom of your mouth.
Where regular teeth dentures may slip and slide uncomfortably when talking or eating, implant supported dentures are comfortably held in place by the implants, leaving you free to live your life.

Benefits of Implant-supported Dentures

Durability:
Implant-supported dentures do not need to be relined like traditional types, and they can last for more than a decade with proper care.
Strength and Stability:
Implant-supported dentures allow patients to eat all types of foods, including apples, ribs, or other foods that they may not have felt comfortable eating with traditional dentures.
Furthermore, your implant-supported denture will not slip or fall out of place, so you can eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
Improved Oral Health:
After tooth loss, the jawbone will naturally begin to atrophy, or shrink. Dental implants are the only restorative treatment that can halt this bone loss by returning stimulation to the jaw.
